I can live without Twinkies-I was always a Susie Q fan. The Christmas
before they went bankrupt my mom introduced me to Hostess Fruitcake. It
was phenomenol. Next year I tried many stores and no one was selling
any. That's the one I miss. I don't like most fruitcakes. I think theirs
was more solid/less bread, had more nuts, and was stickier than most. We
liked it cold out of the fridge. Sliced like hard cheese.
