Help for a tomato?

Salt and pepper them after slicing and before adding to your salad.
IMHO, soaking them in vinegar gives you a taste but it's not a raw
tomatoe taste any longer. Salt and pepper, OTOH, should help bring out
what flavor is already there, such as it is.
