Sort of like how the grocery stores tell you that you saved ____. Well, not
really because chances are that I wouldn't have bought a lot of those items
had they not been on sale for that price. Yesterday the clerk was astounded
because I got just over $40 of items for the food bank for $19.18. Well,
don't be astounded! Read your own ads! I would have purchased none of
those items at regular price.

I don't see how some stores make any money on me. Particularly QFC! Their
prices are so high, I rarely shop there. There is one within walking
distance of my mom's house so if I am there and need something, I will buy
it there. But mostly what I buy is single serve sodas. That's still enough
to earn me their freebie and discount coupons. I don't even redeem most of
the discount ones because even with that discount, I can usually get the
food (or whatever) for less elsewhere. But I for sure redeem all of the
freebies. Even if we can't use them, someone else can.
