I've seen more working refrigerators thrown out or given away. I can't
remember one breaking, although my Amana ice maker is not working. I
acquired a Gibson when I moved in, down stairs. Got to be over 30 years
old. I gave away a big old sears chest freezer 35 years old, 8 years ago.
