Thanks for the recipe. My Mama made the best hotcakes in the world. She used flour for a base and added a little yellow corn meal to the batter. It gave them a nice crunch and a light yellow color. We would start eating when they started coming out of the skillet and knocked them out one at a time. Dang..those the good old days..lol.
