Hoody's (from Oregon, in the shell) used to be head and shoulders above the rest (quality and shelf life) but now they're just average.
Rocky Peanut in Detroit's Eastern Market used to sell peanuts fresh from the roaster, but now everything is bagged up -- who knows how long they've been there.
