I was aware of a problem with grapefruit and some heart medications. In
fact, one of the medications I was taking after heart surgery had a
warning about grapefruit. I have to confess I don't remember now which
it was. What I do know is that between that horrible experience and a
lot of pain medication, I was pretty much in a fog. My wife picked up
all my prescriptions at the drug store and then we sat down and tried to
figure out which was which to take when. The generic names were all
different and... I was confused.
