We once had to pay to put two cats in a shelter. I would have loved to have
kept them but I couldn't really afford three cats in those days plus Maui
didn't like other cats. I think we had to pay $150 for the two of them to
get them their needed shots and to get them fixed. Otherwise they wouldn't
take them.
