Sour cherry, peach or rhubarb are my weakness. However, I just put an
apple pie in the oven. My nephew and his family are coming by this
afternoon. The last time they came I made a rhubarb coffee cake. My
little grand nephew was thrilled to sit down to cake but I saw the
sudden look of horror when he tasted the rhubarb. So we will go with
apples this time. We are cheating. My wife bought a frozen unbaked
apple pie at her church.
