She uses it fine but not for me

It's a different rhythm. Things just happen faster. Typically, there's
no need to warm up a pan. This morning I dumped a chicken in a pot of
water with some aromatic veggies for a stock. I brought it to a boil and
let it simmer for 5 minutes. This took about ten minutes which was all
the time I had. I'll finish it when I get home but I've got a head
start. I wouldn't have been able to do this in a regular stove.
