I didn't mean Jill on that one. It's an elderly person that we know. Her
aunt urged her to get it. She asked us to get it for her so we did. But
she never could figure out how to use it. People would get annoyed because
they were sendning her messages and she never responded. We showed her time
and again how to do it but she couldn't figure it out. She also no longer
seems to be able to figure out emails much of the time, but once in a while
she does. She will tell me that she never got my email but when I look on
her computer, it is there, unopened.

Then every night around 2:00 a.m. I would get these weird messages from her
about giant octopus and other such nonsense. I knew that she wasn't up at
that hour and wouldn't be sending such messages.
Twice, I urged her to change her password, thinking she had been hacked.
She became furious when I told her this but did nothing about it until the
rest of her "Friends" began telling her of the same thing. So she got even
more angry and had someone else remove the FB from her computer.

So now, any time we mention FB, she gets upset and says that she would like
to have it but could never figure out how to use it.

IMO, it's not all that hard to use. Certainly not as hard as Twitter which
once you know how to use it, isn't hard. They do make changes and that's
annoying but seems easy to me to read and respond to messages on it.
