There was a Blimpie's in downtown SJ decades ago, before redevelopment, when
the number of restaurants in downtown SJ could be counted on two hands.

I think both Blimpies and a long-established family Mexican place were both
victims of redevelopment. Only Original Joe's survived.

Do NOT ever order an Original Joe's, a dry and tasteless blend of ground beef
and spinach.
