Default My stove looks like new!

Someone here... Jill? Cheri? Sorry can't remember who, mentioned that
they bought some foil burner liners. I did not find these at whatever store
I think they mentioned but I did find them online.

My drip pans were awful. Worse than I realized. They got to the point
where I stopped even trying to clean them because they were falling apart.
Yes, rusted! The one on the burner that I normally use actually had holes
eaten through it!

Apparently they are cheaply made, crappy things. Although not cheap to buy.
I did buy a replacement set and it was so expensive that I kept it unused,
in the bottom drawer of the stove. I only inserted them if someone was
coming over and I thought they would go into the kitchen.

And I'm not a messy cook either so I don't understand how/why this happened.
It is rare for me to have a boilover or some such thing so not sure how they
rusted.

But now? I have the new drip pans in and they are lined. Due to the design
of my pans (GE stove), the liners don't cover the entire pans but they
should help. I did save the package from the pans in case I need to buy
another set. But I don't plan to do that any time soon. Then again,
perhaps I should because the stove is now perhaps 10 years old.
