I only saw it the once. I just thought it was funny that it happened
when I was joking with the nurse as she helped me get up and asked her
if it really happens, and then within seconds it happened to someone
nearby.
I had a similar sort of coincidence when I worked at a marine park and
when I was introduced to the sea lions I asked the other trainer if they
every bit. The guy said he had been working there for 5 years and had
never been bitten. The words were barely out of his mouth when his leg
was in the mouth of one. The little bugger just lunged and bit him on
the lower leg. It was worse than all the dog bites I had had up to that
point... multiple punctures, blood and bruising.
