What pig organ is this?
There's a pig organ that the Chinese eat. I wonder if anyone can tell
what it is from its description.
The organ is a coil-like tube about the diameter of a pencil. The
texture is resilient, somewhat firm; like a hollow spiral bungee cord if
you will. It is sometimes cooked in a dark, mildly salty marinate.
I don't think it's the small intestine because (I think) I know what a
pig small intestine looks like.
Help solve the mystery for me!
