Default Butter Bell or Butter Boat?

I don't know what a "butter boat" is. As for the butter bell, the water
seal keeps the butter fresh up to 30 days, as long as you change the water
every few days. It's not messy.

I'm in the Mid-South. But I have AC; I doubt this would be a good idea if
you don't
