A man with a lot of money and already in a dicey situation with her
would risk losing a lot of money if he was making false accusations. He
could be sued and be subjected to huge financial penalties. I would
imagine that someone of her generation and travelling in her circles
most likely tried recreational drugs. The US is getting damned right
silly about barring people who have been honest enough to admit to
having used drugs. The supposed land of the free has little room in its
jails for violent criminals because there are so many of those
dangerous pot smokers behind bars.
