My take: If life expectancy is 80, half way, or the top of the hill is
40 so it is downhill from their.

For me, 40 was just another day, but my wife did have a party for me.
50 was a reaching of a certain maturity level, a positive thing. 60 was
like achieving senior statesman status.

Physically, I have some limits I never considered before, and aches and
pains., mentally, I feel as good as ever. Looking forward to 70 and 80 too
