I sometimes make my own from canned tomatoes and a spoonful of tomato
paste... but usually I use the sauce Sam's Club sells in #10 cans
(approx 1 gallon) for $3.97. I freeze the extra sauce.
I put all the effort of making pizza into the crust and try to simplify
everything else -- but the crust is pretty easy too, with practice.
