They're calling it the "Quick Stop 'n Shop". Tomorrow is the last
chance to have food/beverage items applied to the 2013 Dining Minimum.
Available for purchase in the lobby of the Club House from 10AM-3PM:
Drink Tokens [applied to the 2013 minimum but may be used in 2014.]
Chicken Noodle Soup (Quart) $20
Kansas City Steak Soup (Quart) $20
French Onion Soup (Quart) $20
Tomato Basil Soup (Quart) $20 [note, they *really need a proof-reader.
This was typed 'Tomato Basi Soupl' in the email LOL]
Clam Chowder (Quart) $22
Corn & Chicken Chowder (Quart) $22
Apple Pie $24
Pecan Pie $24
Assorted Wines and Champagnes (priced per bottle)
I don't know how this is set up. Not that I'm planning to pay $20 for a
quart of soup, but I can't quite picture the arrangement.
Surely they don't have quart containers of soup sitting on tables in the
lobby for five hours.

There's no room for them to set up stations to
keep all those pots of soup hot in the lobby, either. I also wonder,
how *old* are those $24 pies? (Most likely frozen, right?) I'm really
curious so I'll call tomorrow to ask for particulars.

I would grab some of that soup if I understand their system correctly. You
have to pay even if you don't eat, don't you? So, if it isn't actually
costing any extra, I would get some soup and freeze it in individual
meal-size containers at home. I would guess that they will put soup into
quart containers after you arrive. Hope so!
