I don't know if that chef mangled the oysters but he sure took them
beyond recognition. Almost looks like the oysters were an
afterthought. That probably tastes good but I can't imagine how he
came up with that recipe/combo. Probably can barely taste any oyster
in that.

I wish Jill would try that one and report back.

On the other hand, I came home from work today with 8 very live
oysters, harvested from a local bay just this morning. My dinner plan
is to steam 3 of them open and eat. The other 5 I plan to shuck and
batter and deep fry along with deep frying the last of my tater tots.
