The pink peppercorns we've got in a pepper mill taste *conspicuously*
different than mainstream black peppercorn. It's not even a
peppercorn; I think it's a kind of berry.
The white pepper (though I've never had it whole for grinding)
certainly tastes different to me, but in a dish it's still just pepper.
