I think the problem was basically she didn't want it. She's no longer a
pasta lover. I think she burned us both out on it after going through about
a 2-3 year period of her wanting to eat pretty much nothing but pasta. I
had hoped that the new shape would entice her to eat it but no. I did love
it though.
