The orthorater at a driver exam centre is just a screening device. If
you don't meet the standards on that one you go to an optometrist. If
you go in with glasses they don't bother testing. You already have the X
condition. It is quite possible to go in with glasses that do not
correct to the standards. When I went in with glasses they automatically
put the X on my license.
