Good sedatives make time fly. When I got sedated for a root canal I
thought it took 10 minutes. My wife said it was more than two hours.
Likewise with angiogram. I was hooked up to IV sedatives and the three
hour wait from prep to procedure flew by like minutes. Then when they
screwed up and had to prep me for emergency surgery it felt like 10
minutes but was over an hour.
