That reminded me of a conversation I had with a friend many years ago.
He was a salesman at a good menswear store on a local mall in the days
before Sunday shopping. The mall tried an experiment with Saturday night
hours, staying open until 10 pm. He was upset. He was on commission. His
view of Saturday night shoppers.... they don't buy, they don't have
money, they don't have lives.
