Thanks. I'm no kid, which is why things are a bit difficult.
Everyday I'm finding new abilities that I didn't know I had or was
afraid to try.
Today we went to the farm market and bought our 50 pounds of Texas 1015
onions. I was very pleased with my walker abilities on uneven ground.
Then we did the supermarket with me in the electric cart, which I am
getting much better at. I didn't even hit anyone today :-)
After that to Walgreens. The pharmacy and vitamin area is all the way
in the store and it was pretty far, but I did it. They had a basket for
the front of the walker so we bought it. We put it on and put my purse
in it. It was too heavy for me to move the walker, so we returned it.
What good is having a basket if I can't lift the front of the walker??
I just made a pot of hard boiled eggs and they are now sitting in the
ice bath. I'm going to sit at the kitchen table later with celery and
onions and cut them up in itty bitty pieces for egg salad, tuna salad
and chicken salad for our trip.
We have an abundance of mushrooms so I will attempt chicken and
mushrooms tonight. Wish me luck.
