What I love most 'bout my Kitchen Aid mixer is that it's so much like the
big-'ol Hobart mixers that my son is learning to use up at the high
school... and the mixers that I used to use to make mega-pizza-dough and
Italian bread when I worked in 'da pizzarias.
Fort Fairfield Jr/Sr High School operates a bakery... using cheap labor
(LOL!)... to market baked goods... everything from breads and muffins to
Pizza and Calzones... Baking, Marketing, Accounting, Business Management,
Human Resourses... the educational rewards/benefits of a program like this
are endless.

We just had a Parent/Teacher meeting yesterday... where I learned
something... My son loves his baking class/lab... where he and his (Special
Education) classmates are working on sanitation right now (yet will be
learning more 'bout baking later this year). Adam and I have lots of home
baking to work on during this semester so that he can do well in Baking
class next semester.
I decided to volunteer a few hours of my free time with the H.S. Bakery
Lab... just to share some of my experience with the students.
Please do the same for yourself, your children, your community...
Volunteer with 'yer local Home-Economics class to share what 'ya know with
'da yung-wuns...
