It is hard to tell from the video because she did head off in the
direction that the dog had gone. For all you can tell from the video it
could have just be playfulness, though much to rough, and family dog and
cat might explain why the cat ran in and dog ran off. However..... when
you read the article and see the damage it is a different story.
