mine used to. I had a Cat TV DVD and it had mice, birds and squirrels
running around, and chirping. Was pretty cute to watch the cats try to
bat at the tV and run around to the back of it trying to see where they
were coming from.

I can't watch the TV show "My cat from hell" because it upsets my cats
too much.
