Yum! I'm still loving my pears here. I've been simply slicing the
pears ( and the odd apple) into a bowl, add cream, brandy or vanilla
essence and/or maple syrup.

These pears taste so different to me, partly because they are my own
(I guess), but clearly they are at their peak of ripeness, right now.
They just seem to be extra fragrant, tender and tastier than pears
I've had before.
