She managed to ring up whatever it was you were buying, didn't she? I'm
sure they don't employ her because of her sparkling wit or vivacious
beauty. She wouldn't have a job if she was incapable of telling a
manager about this woman.

You worked in retail yet you don't understand the long-term consequences
of people doing things like this? Apparently you'd rather justify
blowing it off. Pass the buck and let everyone else pay the price.
Utterly amazing.

I mentioned in another reply, I'd have spoken up and asked the woman
what the heck she thought she was doing. Then again, my parents didn't
raise me to turn a blind eye.
