Medicare paid part and my private ins. paid the rest except for a $20
co-pay. I got the flu shot at my doctor's office but I was suprised
when I was handed a Rx to get the shingles shot at the pharmacy... I
could have gotten the flu shot at the pharmacy too only no one told me
about having to get the shingles shot at the pharmacy. Anyway my
understanding is the shingles shot is a one time event. This was last
year, but now my doctor doesn't write Rx, all are electronic... I
think this is the last year for written Rx.... from then on your Rx
drugs will not be private. I already noticed that doctors no longer
ask you what drugs you take, they are all on line... your entire
medical history is now on line.
