Nope! It will be perfect for the cookies. They are dipped in chocolate on
one end and need to be set on waxed paper for the chocolate to set up. It
only cost me $19.99. It is very heavy. I don't even want to venture to
guess how much that would cost to send back. For sure more than I paid.
Plus it is the right colors for my kitchen, it looks kinda Mexican and I
love it! So even if it doesn't get a lot of use, it will get some use and
it looks good sitting out.

I will just keep my eye out for a Corelle platter or something similar. Can
get the white Corelle now for only $9.99 on Amazon. Which really is a good
price but still, I can cheap out on stuff like that. Only buying when I see
a good clearance sale or full price out of need. I could probably even snag
a good deal now or after summer on some kind of plastic or Melamine thing.
It's not likely that I would ever cook on the platter. I just need
something larger than my dinner plates to occasionally store something in
the fridge or to put baked goods on.
