Authentic vindalu would probably be unrecognizable even to serious Indian food
connoisseurs. It's a Goan specialty, invariably made with pork, containing no
potatoes and using red wine vinegar as its base. Many Panjaabi restaurateurs
end up trashing this dish rather than sticking to sarson ka saag and maki ki
roti.>
