Not to mention crass, when people in restaurants make a show of
taking a phone pic of their food.

Maybe those people could wean themselves off the habit slowly. I
suggest, send a picture of your cat's dinner. The picture should not
include the cat, and remember, do not feed lasagne to your cat.
