It can work. Don't know if I've ever done it with spaghetti, but pasta spirals, meat and tomato sauce, and avocado works. Salad of tomato, avocado, and greens would work with pasta.

I'm much more likely to do the above type of things with rice rather than pasta, but pasta will be fine.
