These use navy or pea beans. They're in a sweet sauce. Not BBQ sauce. I
use a ton of the caramelized onions, some ketchup. a little molasses, a
little Splenda, a little dry mustard. a little salt, lots of chopped cooked
bacon and a ton of coarsely ground black pepper. Bake until the sauce
reduces waaaay down and everything turns very dark. As in just shy of
burning.
