No charge for Viber. Yes, we send texts and images too. We use Skype too of course.
I don't think Whatsapp is available for the iPhone so I don't know about that.
I am wondering why you need an app to make a shopping list. I have something on the 'home screen', 'notes' I use it not only for shopping but to remind myself of all sorts of stuff i.e., books or movies people recommend, something I want to look up online, also a To Do list.
but since it isn't an app it doesn't drain the battery. When I first got my phone I went nuts with apps just because some were such a novelty and so much fun. I have since dumped most of them.
