The people that plan meals for a week or month in advance tend to use
lists. I would not want my life structured so much. We often don't
decide what to have for a meal until it is time to eat, then we come up
with something. Sure some meals are planned in advance, but very few.

I bought ribs to have last weekend, but plans changed. I'm going to
make them today along with something else, not yet determined. Maybe
we'll stop at the store and browse the meat case.
