Wrong. Vitamin C is metabolized via oxalate,
so large doses can give you kidney stones.
You can't absorb much more that 400 milligrams
daily, so very high doses (above 1000 mg daily)
increase risk of kidney stones while providing
no benefit at all. If you want higher doses,
you have to get it by injection.
