Midges dislike very much Lavender and Rosemary. My sil was always getting bitten when working in the garden. The poor luv her face would quite swollen from where she was bit. I had read an article about Lavender and Rosemary and now she as goes into the garden she crushes some in her hand and rubs it over her face and arms. She said it works like a charm.
