I'm not "allowed" to sip out of my glass of ice water without Persia
getting some first. No, she doesn't drink out of the glass. I have to
dip my finger in the ice water and give it to her drop by drop. Yes,
your Highness...

It is only after this ritual do *I* get to take a
sip of the ice water.
When I go to bed I have an insulated tumbler of ice water on the
nightstand. In case I get thirsty in the middle of the night. When
Persia is curled up next to me, she's not really asleep. She's just
pretending to be. Just try to take a sip of that ice water at 3AM. She
stands up and demands her "ice water toll". It's pretty funny.

I
love this little old cat. :-D
