Recommended? A fact sheet from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food says
it will grow in parts of Ontario, but it also says that production has
been inconsistent in Niagara orchards. We used to get some very dark
cherries from the farm behind us that were similar to Bings. They made
great jam. The people had only one or two trees of that variety and cut
them down years ago.
