In spite of potential savings, I won't buy ketchup, mayo, peanut
butter in large containers. By the time you get to the last 1/4 or
so, it is getting yucky from old age.

We always have lemons in the house. The bottled stuff does not taste
as good. Same with crushed/chopped garlic in a jar.

Never had a store bought potato salad that was worth having. If not
home made, we won't have it.
