I am careful about where I use my cards and there is an ethnic angle to
it. There are a couple different immigrant communities where credit card
and bank card schemes seem to be more common. If I go to a gas station
and see it staffed by one of them, they get cash. I prefer to pay by
debit, so I find another place.
