I would miss "the crap". The arguments people have on Usenet are a
reflection of the differing opinions in our society. Sometimes a good
Usenet argument is stimulating and fun, especially with a "worthy foe"

I belong to quite a few forums that are moderated and have even served
my term as moderator on several. Moderation does keep the fighting
down, but it is censorship, and, given the choice, Id rather fight than
be censored.
