Fast food here is not cheap and unfortunately we don't have 'American style diners' either. I wish we did. I was in Oregon in 2005 visiting some friends and they took me to Trillium for breakfast. I had the most wonderful corned beef hash and poached eggs. In 2003 I was in Austin and went to a Vietnamese restaurant. The servings were so plentiful and cheap. I took half of it back to our hotel (Homestead Suite) and had it for lunch the next day. I really wish I could do that here.

I may be a carnivore but I do love my veggies so I do try to eat healthily .... tastebuds permitting!
