Really? In areas where there is a high Italian population, it is commonly
sold. When I worked at K Mart, we had a weird little bakery at the end of
the building for a while. Probably mid 1980's. I don't recall them selling
any sweets like cookies. But they did have some sweet bagels. They had all
kinds of rolls, bread, bagels and pizza dough.
I think grocery store pizza dough is fairly new here. Perhaps in the past 5
years or so or perhaps it was just there and I never noticed it. Pillsbury
dough in a tube has been around for yonks. I've tried it. It's okay. But
I'm not big on pizza.
