The one here is just called 'American Diner'.

Trip Advisor has one in Glasgow called "Al's American Diner".
Apparently a full bar was added recently, so they've changed the name
to Al's Bar & Diner. Unfortunately, reviews are "mixed" at best.
None are by Americans, so I have no idea what an American thinks about
their food/service.

Maybe you'll be able to Google a menu. I found
http://www.alsdinerglasgow.co.uk/ via yelp, but I guess they've
changed their url because it didn't work for me. It's odd that they
don't have a working website, but I found a phone number via Urban
Spoon. Maybe that has changed too, but this is what I found
Als American Dinner
(0141) 258 2503
NY American Grill Bar

had better reviews, not great - better.

I would definitely try either their coconut shrimp or crispy calamari
appetizer. Portions are huge over here, so Americans usually share an
appetizer or order one as their main. I'll show you an example of
what I mean. This is an appetizer plate of fried calamari and
artichokes - we'd already eaten part of it! $12

In any case, one of the Al's reviewers mentioned two more American
style restaurants in Glasgow (TriBeCa and Charlie Rocks) + down at the
bottom of the page are other American style restaurants (Google will
probably find even more for you). I'd check out some reviews first
and pick one that is better liked by the locals than Al's is though.
